I gave Jaxon the choice to have a birthday party or go on a little weekend getaway to go see LEGOLAND.

Of course, he chose LEGOLAND!

We stayed at the Great Wolf Lodge, which was tons of fun. My only regret is that we didn’t plan a longer trip. They have a super fun indoor waterpark that would’ve been fun to splash around in for more than one day. The hotel itself has so much for the kids to do, including story time every night. We didn’t take advantage of everything we could have because we were there for such a short time. I wish I would’ve taken more pictures, but we had our hands full with the boys.

LEGOLAND itself was amazing! They had an entire LEGO city set up, a 4-D movie theater and so much more. We were there for several hours, and Jaxon had a blast. Before we left, he got to pick out a new LEGO set from the gift shop.

My favorite part of the trip was the Dallas Arboretum. I know the boys weren’t as excited about it as I was, but I had to make sure we went after seeing pictures of the pumpkin village they put up for fall. Tons of pictures were taken. I really wish we had a place like that in Houston. If we do and I’m missing out, please let me know! Below are some of the pictures we took during our visit.
